Color is one form of non-verbal communication.Every color expresses different views and ideas.But,the importance of color vary from culture to culture.Each color has various meaning according to circumstances,culture & customs.

These are different views about colors according to psychological properties of color.There is not any Hard and fast rule that each color has this specific property.In most cases,my point of view is different.

RED Positive: Physical courage, strength, warmth, energy, basic survival, passion Negative: Defiance, aggression, visual impact, strain.

BLUE

Positive: Intelligence, communication, trust, efficiency, serenity, duty, logic, coolness, reflection, calm & peace. Negative: Coldness, lack of emotion, unfriendliness.

WHITE Positive: clarity, purity, cleanness, simplicity, sophistication, efficiency. Negative: Sterility, coldness, barriers, elitism.

BROWN Positive: Seriousness, warmth, Nature, earthiness, reliability, support. Negative: Lack of humour, heaviness, lack of sophistication,sad,witsful

BLACK Positive: Power,authority, glamour, security, emotional safety, efficiency,mystery, Negative: Oppression, coldness, menace, heaviness.

GREY Positive: Psychological neutrality. Negative: Lack of confidence, dampness, depression, hibernation, lack of energy.

PINK Positive: Physical tranquillity, nurture, warmth, femininity, love, survival of the species. Negative: Inhibition, emotional claustrophobia, immature, physical weakness,silly.

ORANGE Positive: Physical comfort, food, warmth, security, sensuality, passion, abundance, fun. Negative: Deprivation, frustration, frivolity, immaturity.

GREEN Positive: Harmony, balance, refreshment, universal love, rest, restoration, reassurance, environmental awareness, equilibrium, peace,recycle, Negative: Boredom, stagnation, blandness, enervation.

YELLOW Positive: Optimism, confidence, self-esteem, extraversion, emotional strength, friendliness, creativity,Attention-getter. Negative: Irrationality, fear, emotional fragility, depression, anxiety, suicide,impatient,cowardice.

Gold

Positive: color of success, achievement and triumph, prosperity, luxury and quality, prestige and sophistication.

Negative:the color psychology of gold implies affluence, material wealth and extravagance.

My perception about Colors

Blue

sign of peace,trust,reliability

Appearence:Executive & professional look, Cool & efficient look

White

Sign of peace, purity,cleanliness

Appearence:Sobber & decentt look,

Red

Sign of Love ,Sign of excitement, Sign of danger & Anger

Appearence:Bride look, mostly it looks good in female,Eye-catching.

Black

Sign of Authority,Power,mystery & precious

Appearence: Touching look & Eye-catching

Green

Sign of growth, purity,freshness and peacefulness

Appearence:Look precious in mosque & tomb etc, fresh look

Yellow

Sign of optimism, sign of caution, sign of warmth

Appearence:Dedicated look,Attention-getter
